Hello,
Specs:
GE Gas free standing Oven
JGBP33WEH3WW
DG277527P

I'm sure this is a defect; I couldn't find a recall on GE's site. I hit the broil button and the oven immediately shut down and tripped the breaker. I flipped the switch and again, same thing happened. I tried one more time; this time the breaker would not go all the way over. I did further troubleshooting and it's not the GFCI outlet, when the GE oven is plugged in the near by GFCI outlet will not reset, when it's not plugged it, it will reset/test. And same with breaker, when it's plugged in, the breaker will not reset, when it's not plugged in, everything is fine. I even went further and shut down the main, switched the wires on tripped breaker, and the original wire doesn't trip (when appliance is plugged in). So it's definitely the appliance. Please advise if you ever heard of this. Currently the oven doesn't work at all. Thanks :)
