From the Appliance Parts Pro website I ordered an ignitor for the above model gas oven. The part does not look like the original. On the training video that was on the parts page, the video shows the installer cutting the connector wires and using the old connector with the new ignitor; however the new ignitor I received has a Warning tag on it that says
" Do not alter electrical connectors. Use only where a flat ignitor is being replaced." The old ignitor is round.

Do I return the part and try and find the correct one? Or can I alter the electrical connector? Image of new and old ignitors attached.
