A few months ago the oven temperature light started behaving oddly. When we turn the oven off and set the temperature control to the lowest setting the oven temp light comes on. Once the oven cools, if we turn the knob about 1/4 of the distance to the 200 degree mark the light will go off. It will then turn back on once we get in the 200-500 degree range. The oven works fine and the temperature of the oven is correct when it is operating. I would guess that the problem is in the thermostat module but since the oven temps are correct and the oven works fine I am reluctant to purchase a new module only to find the problem is somewhere else.
