I have an island venting installation, (about 20 years old), with the fan located in a exterior 'well' located outside my house and the fan stopped working.
It worked for some time (for the past year or so) but only on the high speed. The vent still goes up and down, (power is on), but fan does no longer goes on.
Before I replace the whole fan outside, in the 'well', I would like to be reasonably certain that this is my only alternative, -because I am physicallly unable to do this myself.
Could it just be excess grease build-up or electrical connection?
Your suggestions will be appreciated.--WMM.
