I just replaced the oven ignitor. The provided ceramic wire nuts slip when I tighten them, and I do not trust them. Looking around, ceramic wire nuts are for 18-14 gauge wires which is the size that was provided and I just don't feel safe using them.

Is there a hi-temp wire dope or something like that I can use with the wire nuts with confidence? If not, what can I do?
