I have power coming into the fuse block and to the control unit but nothing on the face. The unit was reported to be working when removed, did I get took by a con job or is thelre something I am missing ? Any assistance would be appreciated. Stay safe.

The unit was reported to be working when removed, did I get took by a con job or is there something I am missing ?
Cannot say.
I do not want to libel someone without proof but this type of thing is not uncommon.

You said you had power to the control board so I am assuming that you also have oven lights.
If yes then I would say that the control board is toast.

Unfortunately the board looks like it is obsolete.

There are companies out there that repair obsolete control boards just Google "appliance timer repair".

If you have the operators manual try getting the oven to work.
May not be easy as you will be working blind.
If you can get it to work then it is just a problem with the boards display.

If it is just the display try replacing the capacitors on the control board.
This applies to fluorescent displays. I am not sure if this board is that type.
Note that they are electrolytic s so polarity matters.

Here is a link to a thread on this type of problem.

Thanks, I purcased the new board and have it installed and still have no display on the oven, no lights in the oven either. If I have power to the board and to the control unit why would there not be any lights on the unit ? I have it sitting on the floor with no gas hooked up right now. Does it have to be connected to gas line ? Besides the control module where would any other electrical controls be going that would prohibit the unit from powering up? This cant be the first time this model unit has had these issues or is it something so easy that I am missing.
Stay safe.

Here are your parts
Parts for Maytag CWG3600AAB Wall Oven - AppliancePartsPros.com

See the attachment for the tech sheet.

There looks like there is a jumper in the power line but you said that there is power at the control board.
I cannot see anything else that might be a type of interlock.

If there is 120 volts from N to L1 on the board it should light up.
