I'm currently living at my grandmothers house and am trying to save her some money.
The current wall oven display doesn't function at all - I read a couple different feeds to assess that I need to change this but am unsure of what my part number is or the proper way to go about changing out the panel.

secondly the door doesn't shut all the way. In one feed it said to self clean the oven because it would help the door to shut and then if that didn't work I needed to change the hinges. Do I need to try and clean it? I have no idea how old it is, when the last time it was cleaned or any other history.

Thanks for you help - really want to back a level cake for my grandma's birthday

Here are your parts
Parts for Jenn-Air JMW9530AAW Wall Oven - AppliancePartsPros.com

The display is the control board in the Control Panel Parts section.

Have you tried shutting the breaker off for a couple minutes and then back on?

Here is a service manual.
You will have to join the site to be able to download the manual.

I cannot see what self cleaning will do. Plus I doubt it will self clean unless the door can close.
Check to see if it is not closing because it is hitting the lock at the top of the door which is part of the self clean mechanism.

If it just is not closing all the way try removing the door and re-installing it. See the manual.

If that does nothing then it could be the hinges.
