I have a vintage (circa 1920's) Monarch Electric range. I would like to replace one of the 8 inch 3 wire surface elements. According to the manual, the existing element is 1500 watts and is not fully functional. Can it be safely replaced with an element that is 2125 watts? There is a GE element that looks like it would work, part number WB30X354. I would replace the burner, the terminal block and the ring.
