Do I need to program control board

I posted yesterday about whether a replacement control board needs to be programmed when power is restored to the oven. That is because I have see in a previous post by one of the appliance experts, Gene, that upon turning on the power to the oven that there are 60 seconds to program the control board for the cavity size of the oven.
Having looked at another post by Gene I can tell that the wiring to the control board I put in is for a 24" oven cavity, which is the size of my oven. Does that mean that I don't need to program the control board since it is already wired for a 24" oven?
I am anxious to start the oven. The oven belongs to my girlfriend and she told me that if I get it to work she will cook me a fabulous dinner.
So my stomach hopes that someone can get back to me soon.
