I have a Kenmore oven that the igniter lights up but the flame does not kick on. The panel just reads PRE like it is pre heating but it never kicks in. I tried a long match next to the burner when the ignitor was red but still no flame. The Broiler bar on the top gets a flame and the burners on the stove top work.
Any help would be appreciated.

You need to replace your ignitor. It is not strong enough to open the gas valve. Just the fact that the ignitor lites completes all the circuitry. Replace the ignitor, and that will do it. Tom ApplianceEducator.com - Parts

Thanks Kayakcrzy,
That is exactly what the problem was!
I ordered the part from Appliance Parts Pro On Tuesday, received it on Wednesday with regular ground shipping.
Thanks again.
