The front XLO burner and front standard burner will not light. On the ones that work, when you turn them on, the gas valve opens and then a second later the igniter sparks and the burner lights. The two that don't light never spark the first time. Gas is flowing as I can either light them manually or turn on one of the burners that do work at the same time causing the spark (at all burners) to light them. Spark looks good on both non lighting burners and is across to flame spreader.
Second problem- My center griddle has progressively gotten worse over the last couple of years and now can take up to 20 minutes for the gas valve to open. The igniter glows red hot in the first minute or two. Sometimes turning on one of the other burners will cause the gas valve to open, but still not until at least 15-20 minutes have passed. Should I just go out for breakfast? Thanks for any help. Greg

When you turn on one of the other burners to make the griddle work you are wiggling the innards of the griddle safety valve and causing it to light. You could thump the stove too probably. The other problem could be a bad top burner switch harness or a bad ignition module. The money is gonna cost on that griddle safety valve. The other 2 things ain't that bad cost wize. I have a Thermadore manual or 2. Email me and I will send ya one.
