My kitchenaid gas sealed burner cooktop won't stop clicking. It has been 5 days. Have had problem in past and just unplugged until it dried out. This time it is not working. Is this something I can fix or do I have to call a repairman? Model No. KGCC505H

Hi.

Most likely there is shorted burner switch or shorted spark module.
In both cases you'll need to open the cooktop and use a multimeter to diagnose the problem.
If you feel comfortable let me know and we'll go from there.

Simon.

P.S. The model number you provided is incomplete. Check and re post.
