Hey guys,

So, my Whirlpool GLSP84900 has been on the fritz for a few years now (ya, years). Wife if finally hounding me to replace or fix lol.

About two years ago my lower bake element on my Whirlpool GLSP84900 burn out (and real good lol). So, picked up a replacement element and still no joy.

In addition, no power to the oven light (even after bulb replacement with known good bulb).

After reading here, I see it's usually best to replace the control board next during such an issue (and will from here given the great exchange policy). However, when I search the parts database here for my unit, under control box schematics it does no provide such a part (?). Should I be looking for another part/area?

Thanks!

Here are your parts
Parts for Whirlpool GLSP84900 Range - AppliancePartsPros.com

See the attachment for the wiring diagram.

The control board is item 15 in the Control Panel Parts section.

It does control the oven light and the bake element and your diagnosis that it needs replacing is probably correct.
Unfortunately it is obsolete.

There are companies out there that repair old control boards etc.
Google a"appliance timer repair"

I am assuming that the stove top indicators and axillary receptacle work.
This tells you that the control board is receiving the 120 volts it needs to run (L1 to Neutral)
