Model Number: E30DF74GPS2 Brand: Electrolux Age: 1 - 5 years
Self-cleaning cycle stopped functioning. Manual indicates to ensure oven racks and oven rack supports have been removed. Have done that. However, the "Racks" indicator light flashes and the unit will not lock and start the self-cleaning cycle. This model does not have any error message indicators. I have done a little research from the manuals and the internet and they seem to point to the rack sensing switch (part no. 318903401) or the control panel (part no. unknown). Any ideas? Thanks!

If the racks have been properly removed but the EOC displays this error message then the failure can be caused by defective switch contacts, wiring harness connections, stuck sensor rod assembly or defective EOC.
Examine the sensor assembly rod to be sure it can move freely. Also inspect the metal plunger cover on the switch to make sure it has not stuck. The pivot points of the oven rack sensor assembly as well as the ball bearing assemblies on the oven racks should be lubricated annually or more often as needed. Use only the approved water based graphite lubricant available through authorized Electrolux parts dealers. Use the lubricant sparingly, a few drops is all that is necessary. If there is nothing wrong, pull the range out of the wall and remove the rear cover to access the main control board. Remove the P5 connector and test for continuity between the wires connected to the pins 5 & 10. The normal reading with the racks removed should be < 1Ω. If the reading is incorrect, replace the rack sensing switch. If the reading is correct but the EOC displays the error message, replace the main control board. - The lubricant Part number: 5304469602 - The rack sensing switch Part number: 318903401 - The main control board Part number: 316455704 Here are the breakdown diagrams and Parts for Electrolux E30DF74GPS2 Range - AppliancePartsPros.com Gene.
