My frigidaire range blew a bottom element sunday morning. As i tried to finish baking my biscuits by using the broiler it would not work either. i replaced the bottom element today and neither of the elements will heat at all. The bottom element did not do the usual flash and out when it blew out. It arked for probably 10 seconds or longer so I'm thinking it may have blown something else electrical? The digital key pad still works fine and when you hit the bake button and set the temperature, after a couple seconds, the preheat and bake lights come on and I can hear a click like a relay kicks on to activated it but the element never heats. A friend says it probably burnt out the temperature probe but it is in the upper opposite corner from where the element blew out. Is that still a possibility ot is something else likely?

A model number may help others help you.

Sounds like the control board/timer blew.
Since the unit stays in pre-heat, it is trying to heat up so the oven sensor is OK.
Need to check to be sure there is not a thermal cut-out in the circuit to the elements.
If there is not, then the board is likely shot.
