Hello,

I am in Canada and am trying to find a thermostat knob to replace the one I have (some of the lettering is worn off). The stove (Jenn-Air downdraft, S105-C) was manufactured around 1983.

I ordered what I thought was the right part: Y703499 (http://www.********************...201465&SourceCode=6), but it does not fit the shaft properly. On further investigation, I came across the following part no.: 702397 (http://www.********************...2124?modelNumber=S105-C). However, it does not seem to be available anymore. I'm hoping that perhaps someone will know where I can still get one.

Any other information you need will be gladly provided.

Success, finally! I contacted Bell Parts, who referred me to Amre Supply in Edmonton, Alberta. They were showing 1 knob in inventory. There was no photo. I took a chance, and lo and behold, it is exactly the knob I was looking for! Stove looks so much better. Since I am selling my home, I am extremely pleased with my good fortune.

So, check out Amre Supply in Edmonton (they have outlets in several provinces in Canada). And KUDOS to Bell Parts!
