Model Number: GSC30B Brand: Thermador Age: More than 10 years
Greetings,
This is a 20 year old slide in range with a gas cooktop and an electric self-cleaning oven. The wife had been baking in the oven and then decided to run the self-cleaning cycle without waiting for it to cool down. During this cycle I was sitting about 15 feet away from the range and had the sensation of a "flash" and heard a "pop". We then noticed that the upper element in the oven was no longer working. Later I checked the "broil" setting and it would not come on. I pulled the element and there is no physical damage and there is continuity to the element. I can't find a wiring schematic, repair manual or a decent parts diagram online (but I am computer challenged) so am looking for any advice or suggestions on what might have been damaged. Thanks, George Ads By Google Related Models |
