Default Bake element not working
Model Number: ffflz287gcc   Brand: Frigidaire   Age: 5 - 10 years

Appliance Parts from AppliancePartPros.com

The bake element stopped working. Unit displays on clock that it is pre- heating, but it is not. I tested the element for continuity and it appears okay. I changed out the Control board and it did not make any difference either. Broiler works and oven temp probe are working also. Even though the display looks like it is working could it be the problem? Thanks any helps would be greatly appreciated.

Default Correction on model number

Sorry about that the correct model on this stove is feflz287gcc. That is what I get for typing this without wearing my glasses.

Still cannot find any info on it.

Are you sure that it has the 2 in it?

I doubt it is te keypad as the display shows it is in preheat so it should be preheating.

Check the wires from the element up to the control board.
