GE oven won't heat past 170 or so
Model Number: JBP66BY5AD Brand: GE Age: More than 10 years
Oven won't heat past about 170 or so. Broiler works fine. Replaced oven baking element...same problem. I can hear the thermostat clicking but it never achieves the higher temperatures.

Hi.
Please check the oven sensor resistance. At room temperature you should have about 1100ohm and if it checks OK - replace the control board.
