Temperature display on Whirlpool range display is dim
Model Number: RF375PXDW Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
The display on my Whirlpool range is dim. The green LED clock numbers are fine. It's the red LED temperature display numbers that are very dim and can barely be read. I'm sure the problem is in the control/display boa, and I've read that the problem is with the capacitors --- but which one. As best as I can tell (remembering that I'm a novice) there are four capacitors, one (marked C11 on the ciruit board) is substantially larger than the other three. I've talked with others with the same model and they all say that their display are or is going dim. Any ideas?
