Model Number: GBD307PRS01 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
I lost all power to the oven (whirlpool gold Mod. GBD307PRS01) during a preheat cycle. I have reset the breaker. I have also previously replaced the control board and the touch panel with sucesss. The oven worked just fine for months until this preheat power loss. No oven light or any signs of power. Also, it is hadrwired into the wall. No plug.

Hi.
Check if you have a thermal link fuse inline of the black wire at the control board plug P24-3. If it's open - replace it and move the harness away from the hot exhaust vent. There are two types connectors: Part number: 4456654 and Part number: 4451042 Here are the breakdown diagrams and Control Panel parts for Whirlpool GBD307PRS01 - AppliancePartsPros.com Post the results. Simon. P.S. There is still a possibilities of a bad connection in the junction box behind the oven. Check if there is 240VAC to the oven connector block.

I wish I had waited to read this response before I went through all the trouble of pulling the unit out of the wall and bypassing the two thermal fuses one the back of the oven only to figure out it was the thermal fuse on the control board.
Thanks for the response it was right on the money. |
