Oven and Broil
Model Number: 79078653601 Brand: Kenmore Age: 5 - 10 years
I have Kenmore rang suddenly 2 days ago both ignitor is glowing but no heat , now I'm confused , can be both ignitors became weak in the same time , or the safety valve ?The top burner is working .

Hi.
To check for sure if that is both ignitors or the gas valve you need to check the amps draw using the amp meter. The normal reading should be 3.2amp or more. If it's less then that replace both ignitors, if not - replace the gas valve. The bake ignitor Part number: 316489401 The broil Part number: 316489400 The gas valve Part number: 316404901 Post the results. Simon.
