Hello, I just purchased a house that came with the above mentioned range. At first I was very happy about it because it had a convection oven, but then I realized that I can't use it because the control panel does not work properly. Some of the buttons do make a beeping sound when you press them, but you can not operate the oven because so many of them don't work. I had a repair person come in and he told me that I needed to replace the control board and possibly the membrane also, which is very expensive. Only in parts I would have to spend over $500. But after reading some of the postings in this site, I'm thinking that maybe I don't need to replace everything. And if I do, maybe it is possible to replace it myself and save some money that way. I would appreciate any advice about whether to try and replace the control board and/or membrane (the range is stainless steel, the membrane is gray). Thank you very much!
