What size wire and breaker is required to operate this oven? Can I get an owners manual? In the model number I'm not sure if it's a letter O or zero. The serial number is HS6405190? Will the serial number identify the year manufactured? Your help is appreciated.

Hi Leo,

The oven must be connected to a supply circuit of the proper voltage as specified on the rating plate which is located behind the oven door. It should be connected with copper wires only. Models rated from 7.3 kW to 9.6 kW at 240 volts require separate 40 ampere circuit.

Per this serial number your oven made in May of 1997.

I cannot find a 0 or O unit but there is a D unit.

Below is a link to manuals for that unit.

Gene, Thankyou for the information. The ID plate has 3.4 or 2.6 and I,m not sure if 30 amp service is adequate for that KW. Could you tell me what size service is required for 3.4?

Yes Leo. A 30 amp double breaker will handle it.
