My stove/oven is about 35 years old and still looks new. Everything works, I am just trying to find a replacement oven door gasket. The repairman said I would be better off to get a new stove, but that doesn't make any sense to me. Anyone know of a supplier that might be able to help me?

Your model number seems to be short several digits.

Below are the models that start with JPB74 use the Matching Model Numbers (left hand side) to find your model and then you can see if a gasket is available.

Don't give up yet.
I am assuming that this gasket is attached to the door.

Below is the gasket that fits a JBP74DM unit, click on the picture for more views and info.
Part number: AP2015869
Part number: AP2015869

Call the parts people at AppliancePartsPros, they have more info than what comes up on the site.

Even if they cannot confirm that the above is the correct gasket I personally think it is worth a gamble that it is. Usually most parts are the same in a appliance series of units.

Thanks for the encouragement. I will try what you say. I just hate that America's solution to everything is to ditch it and buy a new one. Guess it is proof that I am aging! THANKS for your help.
