Oven control shuts down like it over heats
Model Number: KESC307Hww6 Brand: Kitchen Aid Age: 5 - 10 years
When used for big meals (Thanksgiving or the like) control of oven shuts off and a fan turns on for 15 minutes, and then you get control of oven back. What part needs replaced and how do I get a schematic diagram?

Hi.
The cooling fan should turn on at 158F and the control board safety thermostat opens at 205F which supposed to be sufficient enough to cool down the control panel. Check the air flow from the cooling fan, the air speed, and the blower motor.
