The model number you give is the control board type not the units model number.
Find your model number - AppliancePartsPros.com

Could be either of the causes you cite but the most common cause is a bad element.

Unplug remove power from the unit.
Undo the screw/s holding the element to the back of the oven.
Gently pull the element into the oven.
remove one wire connecting the element.
Check the element for continuity, usually around 25 ohms.
Note be careful that the loose wire does not disappear into the back of the unit. I clip something (clothespin etc.) onto it just to be sure.
If the element is infinite ohms (open), replace it.
