The oven and the broiler will not heat. The oven light works fine. The stove top gas burners work fine. The oven and broiler temp control (electronic) seems to work fine. When I select a temp. I hear a click as though the oven or broiler is attempting to engage but it does not heat. I do not smell any gas coming from the oven or broiler.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Hi.

Remove the bottom and flame spreader inside the oven to get to the ignitor.
Set the oven to BAKE.
Check at the disconnect plug if there is 120VAC going to the ignitor. If there is proper voltage or the ignitor is glowing - replace the ignitor Part number: 5303935066

I have power but gthe ignitor is not glowing. Do you believe that the ignitor needs to be replaced. Also there is no gas, is there a safety feature that turns off the gas when the ignitor is bad?

I have power but the ignitor is not glowing. Do you still feel like the ignitor is the problem. Also there is no gas is there a safety feature turning the gas off when the ignitor is not working.

If you are getting 120VAC at the ignitor's disconnect plug and ignitor is not glowing - replace the ignitor. (As I've mentioned in the post above).
