Igniter sparks (clicks) with all burners off
Model Number: ZGU48N4GD1SS Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
I have a GE Monogram cook top (model ZGU48N4GD1SS). which continues to spark when any of the burners is set to medium or higher. There is no sparking with gas set at a lower level. They will also spark when the electrode is touched or wiped, even with all the burners turned completely off. It is my understanding that this model has an automatic re-lite feature if a flame is blown out. How does it sense that, and could that be the problem? Thank you
