Model Number: GS563LXSB Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
It is a gas oven/stove, and the stovetop still works fine, however the oven and broiler do not. This occurred immediately after running a cleaning cycle, it says preheating indefinitely, but no heating occurs and no smell of gas either.
I have read on other threads that it is likely the thermal fuse needing to be replaced, and installation should be simple. So, I popped the back of the oven off to look for it before I buy one...but I see nothing that matches the images of thermal fuses I see available to purchase. Then I took a look at the diagram for the oven itself (seen here) to see where it is, but I can find nothing of the sort about a thermal fuse on that either. Anyone have any ideas on how to proceed from here? Ads By Google Related Models |
