Hi,
The broiler switch on our stove burned out after about 3.5 years and we replaced it with a part from a local appliance repair store that is no longer open. It just burned out again, and we're perplexed. The problem seems to occur if we leave the broiler on preheating and then broiling for longer than 15 minutes. We wonder if these are just defective switches or if there could be another problem.
