Appliance Parts from AppliancePartPros.com

Christmas day while cooking dinner my oven went out with a loud pop. We thought EOC from reading on here. Went out tonight and bought brand new GE stove/oven. After hubby hooked it up he turned on oven light and the oven popped (empty and not on) and the control panel went out. Exactly like our other one did. He checked voltage and got the right numbers. Any ideas what could be happening? TIA
