Last night my oven was cooking and we heard a loud pop and the clockboard which controls the oven was no longer working. The flat top stove is still fully functional. I took the back panels off and noticed that the lamp light socket had "blown up" for lack of a better term. The black wire and blown off and burnt, the socket had burn marks on it. The glass on the light bulb had blown off on the inside. That was the only problem I saw. The back of the clock board all looked good to me, not burns or anything. I flipped the breaker to see if that would do the trick and it didn't...not sure what to do now.
Would that light socking blowing up, potentially make the clock board defective. Maybe there is a fuse box that I'm unaware of? Any help would be great, thanks!
