GE Oven Won't Heat
Model Number: JTP10GS1BG Brand: GE Age: More than 10 years
Oven won't heat in BAKE or Broil. Clock works fine. Timer works fine.
Details: Press BAKE - BAKE flashes Use arrows to select temp - BAKE & ON stay lit, but temp reverts to 100 Oven shuts off after approximately 15 seconds Press BROIL - BROIL flashes; Use arrow to select HI or LO - BROIL & ON stay lit for approximately 15 seconds, then oven shuts off I have cycled power to oven in an effort to reset, but this has not helped. Any ideas if this is a control board or other component? High temp shutoff, etc.? Thanks! Ads By Google Related Models

I sent my control board in to ApplianceTimers.com. They were the least expensive repair solution I could find. The board has now been repaired and I have reinstalled it. Oven is working fine, now. I highly recommend ApplianceTimers.com for repair.
