Model Number: D120 Brand: Jenn-Air Age: More than 10 years
I have a rather old Jenn-Air Drop-In Range. While baking last week, the oven element had a major melt-down. I bought a replacement element, but now neither the new element or the broiler element (which worked fine before) are heating up very much...they get warm, but not hot. I looked at the wiring diagram, and it appears that the problem could be the thermostat (maybe it died during the arcing of the element?) The oven "on" light doesn't come on now, either, which appears to be inline with the thermostat circuit. Any hints or advice would be greatly appreciated.
