Model Number: KGRA806PWH00 Brand: Kitchen Aid Age: 5 - 10 years
KGRA806PWH00-Range powered off 2x after sel-clean cycle.
Replaced/reset thermal fuse. During cool down made loud vibrating sound from old blower motor. ORIGINAL CAUSE IS BLOWER-OLD P/N-8300223 (1500RPM) with new blower P/N-9759320 (2250RPM). Problem with old motor was it slowed down and could not cool properly due to C-Frame MOTOR armature (rotor) delaminating, getting caught in magnetic field slowing down, causing noise and vibration. Relpacement was easy-All work done from back of range. 1.Pull range away from wall.2.Shut off gas and disconnect power.3.remove braces and back panel.4.blower cover is held in wit 4 screws. Rather than offset screwdriver-remove side panels to access 4 screws.5.Remove old blower.6.Replace new blower and reassemble all. Works better than new. Great air flow, no noise or vibration. Good Luck and have fun! Len B. Ads By Google Related Models |
