My wall oven shows an E3 code all the time. When it first started happening I could reset the circut breaker and it would be ok sometimes for weeks or months at a time. As time has gone on it keeps going off within seconds/minutes of being reset. When I throw circut breaker it resets but then shortly after it goes off again. When it goes off the locks on the oven door also lock and it is difficult to get them to unlock. At one point I had the repair people come and they basically said it did not pay to repair as it was at least $800 to repair for an oven made in 1995. Are they correct?
One place told me that Thermador doesn't make the parts anymore so I would have to get a new oven. Please advise.
