Model Number: FEF336ECE Brand: Frigidaire Age: 1 - 5 years
My baking element shorted out, order a new one from your site, replaced it, now both the baking and broil elements will not come on, I do hear the relay kicking on when trying to start either one. Help

Below are your parts
Parts for Frigidaire FEF336ECE Range - AppliancePartsPros.com I am not sure where your part numbers came from as I come up with different ones. See Items 20 and 20 A in the Backguard Parts section. The one I find is 7 button and the one you cite is a 10 button. Check out the overlays. Also if you click on a part's picture a new page will open with more info on that part. I would unplug the the unit and remove the back just to be sure that a wire has not burned off. If OK then the likely cause is the control board is toast. I am assuming that the stove top elements work OK. Am also assuming that the unit stays in pre-heat and does not show that the oven is ready. Some overlays are stuck to the control board/clock and often also have to be replaced. I cannot tell if this applies to this unit from the pictures. The part's people may know this.

thanks for the reply Denman, I will pull the Clock control off and see if there are any burnt wires, I hope it is just the Overlay that is messing up, and if it is the Range Clock, than I will discuss it with the Boss (better half) if we need to wait to purchase a new range or replace the parts, as far as I know its only bout 4 years old.

yep, you are correct, I took the clock apart and found a small burnt spot, one of the pins solder was melted away, I decided what have a got to loose, I soldered the pin back to the board and both elements are working but I do not think the oven is heating up according to the temp of the setting, is there a way to rest the oven, I know on a Kenmore there is. Thanks Denman for all of your advice,

Here is the operators manual.
It does show how to calibrate the temperature on ovens in this series. Note that it also says some models so I am not 100% sure it will work on your unit. http://manuals.frigidaire.com/prodin...16417025en.pdf
