My Maytag Gemini double oven, electric cook-top, few days ago I wake up in the middle of the night and I smell the fumes of the stove, I noticed,the top broiler was on and the nothing was in the oven
I tough one of my sons did some cooking and left it on.
I shut it off. and immediately start to beep and the broiler went on again.
I shut it off again.And went on again.
Was late on night and for safety I shut the circuit breaker.
In the morning I put on and the stove was normal for awhile, then again the broiler start on his own,
For Safety I keep it off from the breaker because the stove can catch fire easily,I was very lucky nothing was inside the stove, because the whole house could go on fire.
I would like to know if somebody in the forum can possibly help me by identifying the cause and the possible remedy .
Anybody else with similar problem?
