Model Number: GBD307PDB7   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: 5 - 10 years

Folks,

The Control Panel Thermal Fuse has blown on my double wall oven It looks just like part # 4451042 but both ends are the same size. I went to a local store to double check and the 4451042 has two different size connectors (One large and one small). Mine are both the larger size. I can't find the part# on the parts diagram. Can you please tell me which part# to order.

I was told today by another company that the control panel thermal fuse is built into the main wiring harness. Can anyone help me with this?

I am thinking about just crimping a new end piece on to part# 4451042 . This appears to be a safe fix to me.

Can anyone advise on this ?
