No beeping sound from range
Model Number: JES9800AAW Brand: Jenn-Air Age: 5 - 10 years
I just installed new control board, everything works great except there is no sound or beeps. I have set the sound to maximum but still nothing. I have checked all the connections and they are fine. Could the board be defective or what. Very flustered with this.

Yes, sounds like the control board is defective. Try to reset the sound settings to the factory default. If it would not help then the new control board is defective and has to be exchanged under the parts warranty.
