Default bottom oven not working
Model Number: rss399   Brand: Caloric   Age: More than 10 years

gas stove......smaller top oven works great. However, the larger oven on the bottom doesn't even do anything....no light on the control panel showing it should be on, no ignition clicks and when a long lighter is placed in the flame area, no iginition. Since the stovetop and top oven are working the problem can't be voltage etc. Any iteas? And where the heck could I find a repair person for this ancient stove I really love?

Hi.

Unfortunately the electrical diagram for this model is not available.
There is a 5amp fuse listed on the parts breakdown #25. See if you can locate it and check for continuity. If it's bad - replace it

If there is a lower oven clock make sure that all setting on it correct for manual cooking.
