On this model of stove there are about 15 rubbery push buttons on the control panel. One of these, start button, activates the oven. It no longer works when I press it. Is this just a switch problem and I should replace that button? Or could it be something else?
Any advice would be appreciated.

It could be as simple as a dust inside. Sometime reseting the power helps too. Hopefully it will last.

Hello yes I was seeing if this issue can be fixed I have a Whirlpool stove and the start button which is a push in pushed all the way in help please
