Hi,

My Amana LP cooktop ignitors aren't clicking to light the burners. First one went sporadic, then two others, then the first stopped working, then they all stopped! This all happened within a week or so. The oven still lights fine.

I have been looking, but can't find the model number. It's a four burner porcelin, with the range dials on the front above the oven door and the clock and oven dial at the back on the raised portion.

Any help that can be offered here will be very much appreciated!

Hi Douglas,

In order to provide the most accurate advise I need the complete model number of the range.

You can find it on the frame behind the bottom drawer.

Hi Gene,

Thank you for the reply, and for the location of the model number. It's ARG7300W.

Hi Douglas,

Most likely the problem with your range caused by the shorted spark module (#10 on the main top break down diagram).

In order to access the part you have to remove all top burners and the top panel.

Each of the top burners mounted with the two screws.

- The part number for the spark module is AP174421

Here are the break down diagrams for the Amana range Model ARG7300W

Thank you so much Gene, you have made it so easy for us to deal with what could have been a very costly thing.

First of the week we will dive into it (no pun intended).
