Thermador Downdraft Venting Questio
 

Hi. Don't know if this is the right forum, but if so, perhaps you can help. I want to redesign my kitchen and move the Thermador gas cooktop/downdraft vent from a wall to an island in the center. Thought was to run a vent hose between the floor joists, through the exterior wall.

Preliminary questions: how to turn the vent downward? How many right angles could the hose accommodate? What size hose to use?
