GE Gas range:XL44 - How to open sealed unit
Model Number: JGBS23CEA3CC Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
How do I open the cook top area to replace a broken Oven control-temperature assembly which is located on front of unit next to gas burner valves? I have removed the 3 screws on each cook top burner but don't want to force open the cook top as I have heard that may damage the unit.

Hi Jim,
In order to replace the oven clock you don't have to remove the top panel.
