Model Number: MGM 255   Brand: Thermador   Age: More than 10 years

this oven worked fine for years, but suddenly both bake and broiler elements won't heat. i suspect the switch or the thermostat and i have a test meter, but don't know which wires should show continuity. would a wiring schematic show me what to test? or is there another way?

Hi.

Check the model number. It's probably MCM255. If that's so check the hi-limit cutoff thermostat, located at the back of the oven. It should have continuity. #141 on the diagram

You are right: MCM255. Very hard to read. I will not be able to pull the unit out of the wall by myself. So maybe I will need to call a repairman.
