on a whirlpool rbd305pdb12 control panel, how do i remove the power cables? they don't seem to be attached via a plug. I cannot jiggle them out & am afraid to pull hard on them

Draw a picture of their position for reassembly. Using a flat blade screwdriver, carefully pry then out, one at a time.
