So i broke the glass top on my range when i set a hot metal lid on the glass and the pressure from the suction made it explode a few seconds later, lucky me! Good news, I was able to find a super cheap replacement top from an almost identical model, got it all changed, no problem there, however after we got it all installed we noticed the range has smaller element in the front and medium in back and the replacement glass has a large ring on front and small on back. Is this a problem? Will it effect the cooking, or cause the glass to break because they don't match up?
