My GE Profile convection oven shuts off when I am ordinary baking and displays code F3. When I convection bake it shuts off and displays code F2. What part do I need to replace?
My oven is about 10 y.o. Model JKP17WOP

Here is what comes up when I search for the given model number
Replacement parts for JKP17W0P models | AppliancePartsPros.com

Hard to be 100% sure about the error codes as GE likes to keep all tech info a big secret.

But it looks like F2 and F3 are related to the unit sensing an over temperature condition. Odds are that it is related to the oven sensor (probe)..Here is info about it, check out 7, 8, 20 and 21.

Be sure to remove power from the unit when working on it.

Thanks for the suggestion. I didn't find good instructions on how to test the sensor but I will try replacing it and see what happens.

Well I did some research and I don't agree that the codes are a secret. GE says a F3 code indicates a shorted sensor and a F2 code indicates an issue with the sensor circuit. None of the codes indicate the temp probe.
I have to wonder how expert the experts are on this site.
